Terms of Service

Effective date: September 21, 2026

1. Agreement to these terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Vetr AI website, software, and related services (collectively, the “Platform”), operated by Vetr AI (“Vetr”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account, booking a demo, submitting a form, or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms.

If you use the Platform on behalf of a veterinary practice, you represent that you are authorized to accept these Terms on that practice's behalf, and “you” refers to both you and the practice.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate, current account information and keep your credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity under your account, including activity by members of your team. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

3. Use of the platform

You may use the Platform only for lawful veterinary practice purposes. You agree not to:

Use the Platform in violation of applicable federal, state, or local laws, including state veterinary licensing rules and call recording consent requirements.

Misrepresent your professional credentials or authorization to provide veterinary care.

Reverse engineer, decompile, scrape, or attempt to extract source code, models, or non-public aspects of the Platform.

Interfere with the Platform's operation, circumvent security or access controls, or access data of other customers without authorization.

Use the Platform to provide services to third parties on a service-bureau basis without our written consent.

4. Veterinary responsibility

Vetr AI is a software and diagnostics tool. It does not provide veterinary care, and nothing on the Platform is veterinary medical advice.

You remain solely responsible for all clinical judgments, diagnoses, treatments, prescriptions, and client communications, and for reviewing and verifying any AI-generated output (including SOAP notes and call summaries) before relying on it or adding it to a patient record. AI-generated content may contain errors.

5. Diagnostics and lab services

Diagnostics submitted through Vetr Labs are performed by independent laboratories. Lab results are provided for informational purposes to support your clinical decision-making and must be interpreted by a licensed veterinarian.

Turnaround times and test availability may vary, and we do not guarantee specific results or timelines for third-party laboratory services.

6. Fees, billing, and trials

Subscription and usage fees are described at sign-up or in your order form. Fees are billed in advance and are non-refundable except where required by law or expressly stated otherwise.

We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice. If you fail to pay amounts due, we may suspend or terminate your access after notice.

Free trials and beta features are provided as-is and may be modified or discontinued at any time.

7. Your data

As between you and Vetr, you own the client, patient, and practice content you enter into the Platform (“Your Data”). You grant us a limited license to host, process, and use Your Data to provide, maintain, secure, and improve the Platform, including its AI features, as described in our Privacy Policy.

You represent that you have all rights and consents necessary to provide Your Data to us, including any consents required to record calls. Upon termination, we will make Your Data available for export for a limited period as described in your agreement with us.

8. Intellectual property

The Platform, including its software, designs, branding, and AI models, is owned by Vetr AI and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Platform during your subscription for its intended purpose. You retain ownership of Your Data.

Feedback you provide may be used by us to improve the Platform without obligation to you.

9. Third-party services

The Platform integrates with third-party services such as laboratories, payment processors, calendar and communication tools, and AI providers. Your use of those services is subject to their own terms, and we are not responsible for their acts or omissions.

10. Confidentiality and security

We take reasonable measures to secure the Platform, as described in our Privacy Policy. You agree to keep confidential any non-public information about the Platform that you access.

11. Warranties and disclaimers

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted or error-free, that AI-generated output will be accurate, or that diagnostics will produce particular results.

12. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, VETR AI WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, OR DATA, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR $500. Some states do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Vetr AI from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Platform, Your Data, your veterinary services, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

14. Termination

You may cancel your subscription at any time in accordance with your order terms. We may suspend or terminate your access for material breach of these Terms after notice and a reasonable opportunity to cure, or immediately where required for security or legal reasons. Sections 7 through 13 survive termination.

15. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Except where prohibited, disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Michigan, and you consent to their jurisdiction.

16. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and revise the effective date. Material changes will be communicated to subscribers in advance. Continued use of the Platform after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
